How many BIM teams do you know that do hands on training with the systems they model? VDC Specialists does!
This training with Washburn Tech was designed to make sure our team got the opportunity to hand bend large and small conduit, use a variety of hangers, and understand how boxes are mounted and KO's are made.
This helps to ensure that we continue to model electrical systems that are ready for prefabrication and provide insights into what the field teams are up against on a daily basis.
In July of 2023, VDC Specialists moved into our brand new, custom built office at KU Innovation Park!
After spending 5 years at our original Kansas office, we are excited to once again have the space needed to grow our Kansas team, enabling us to continue to serve more clients for years to come.
Following the annual tradition of a company sponsored shopping trip to Walmart for Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, the team at VDC Specialists filled their carts to donate 263 toys to ensure local families have a Merry Christmas.
Over the last 5 years, VDC Specialists is proud to have worked on amazing projects across the country, and we are excited to see what the next 5 years and beyond brings!
300 Toys Donated!
Each year at the VDC Specialists holiday party, each person gets an allowance to buy toys that they would have liked as a child. When we get back to the office, each person shares their favorite toy of the night, and the next morning we take them all to Toys For Tots. This year we are proud to have donated 300 toys, a small part to ensure that all the local kids have a positive experience this holiday.
